Welcome Home

Three years ago today I started this blog with a post about how Christmas is just a big waste of money. Some things change but I still stand behind my Christmas thoughts and ideas.

I also stand behind this blog. It's the greatest gift I could have ever received and every day I love writing in it.

Most of all, I love you guys. I love that you come back every day and that you comment and you link and then when you start sending me presents, I love you even more.

Welcome to our new home. Get settled in. Check out the sidebar and please please please click those links. GOOD PEOPLE.

Also, something new: CATEGORIES. Oh, how I adore filing. I'll be offering the following categories:

Coffee
Daily
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Lists
Love, The Management
Music
My Week in Pictures
Of This World
People I Love
Stories
University Life
Vignettes

HUGE SHOUT OUT to Matt West. Without his help none of this would be possible. Absolutely none of this. In addition to being a computer genius and making Emily really happy, he takes good pictures. So check those out too.

Let me know if you have suggestions or if you're still using IE. While I will judge you FOREVER, I am an accommodating person and am trying to make this show up right in IE. It's hard.

An email address is required for commenting purposes. This is for security reasons because Movable Type doesn't offer word verification. (Moment of silence please for the death of word verification .) Your email address will not be displayed and will only go into a FILE of readers. You could probably put a fake email address and it would work. I would find you out though. I always find out.

Finally, the archives aren't here yet but will be. Just be patient. In the meantime, feel free to go on back to the old apartment for your daily dose of whining, eavesdropping, and all around merriment.

There are changes still to come. They will happen slowly, when you're not looking. Quietly, like a thief in the night. (Mostly because I apparently save all important things for the middle of the night.)

Week in Pictures will be delayed this week do to the new launch and the fact that I'm traveling. Check back next Saturday for lots o' pictures.

Happy Birthday Jesus, Happy Birthday Blog, and Happy Homecoming, readers. We're here for keeps.

I would rather ride on a train because I think they are so romantic. I like to ride my mountain bike in the rain though. Marry Christmas, Abigail!

I did not just say Marry Christmas. Guess I should have laid off the Bailey's at the Baker's.

Merry Christmas, Abigail.

I feel like we should have a blogwarming party.

Merry Christmas, friend.

YAY! That was so quick. Very jealous on this side. :O) Merry Christmas!

We should definitely have a blogwarming party. With drinking. And chicken.

And carrots for the vegetarian!

Wait a second, drinks and carrots don't go...

can i tell you how happy it makes me that you used a colin quote on your site?

SO HAPPY.

Marry Christmas, as Heather Anne would say :)

As happy as it makes me that you got? I miss you.
