A List for Monday

After much consideration (over 4 hours), I have decided which five endless-supply-of foods I would bring with me to a desert island. They will of course be good quality and I will have fire and such to aid in my cooking.

1. Chicken
2. Potatoes
3. Carrots
4. Blackberries
5. Hummus

What are your five? What should I wear to the concert tonight?

i am, of course, assuming i can catch my own sushi.

1. potatoes
2. collard greens
3. arugula
4. cheese
5. huckleberries

That list? YR (Yeah Right). There's no cake on that list and anyone who has lived with you knows you can't survive without cake.

Wear a beady necklace tonight, for sure. Green or orangy-red.

i have known you for like 5 years and ive never seen you eat hummus.

maybe because we've never hung out on a deserted island?

Emily is DEAD ON about the cake.
I'm not so sure about the Hummus either, unless you've recently discovered it.
And are the blackberries your California substitute for Blueberries? or perhaps Strawberries?

Now your bro would take Barbeque sauce and lots of it because anything he could find on the island could be dipped in it and it would taste the same!

MMe?
1)Sliced Turkey
2)Cake
3)Salad
4)Bread
5)Coffee w/skim milk

Your mom brings up a very good point -- you didn't include sauce! Is this the same Abigail I know and love? Or are thoughts of escaping to a deserted island corrupting your time-tested values?

Ol' Em knows you verrrrrrrry well. Yes, sauce! Is Hummus a poor substitute for SAUCE? I think knot!

Please. You'd trade every item on that list for a DVD player and The O.C. Seasons 1-3. You could live off salt water and teenage angst.

Also, like you'd ever go to a desert island without Heather or Emily.

(If, however, you go to a dessert island, I'd like an invite.)

Wouldn't hummus spoil? And what about the pita bread?

ya know, just like Emily I thought, NO CAKE?! But I thought about it, you still can make potatoe cake and perhaps use potatoes, carrots, and blakeberries to somehow make a "sweet" cake.

This is all depending on the island being very very warm...

And Neil, I decided that the stuff wouldn't go bad b/c its the never-ending supply that just never goes down, like the oil and flour with that prophet guy in the old testament. Yeah?

Nice try, Jeni, but a true CAKE addict requires
sucrose type sugar in their BUTTERCREAM frosting with WHITE FLOUR CAKE!

But.... perhaps, since there are others attending this party on the desert island, the others bring the CAKE?

Sooooooooo.......... whaddabout a list for Wednesday?
