Poor time management, a case study

10:33 pm Arrive home from dessert with friends
10:44 pm Decide that cheeks are rather warm from champagne
10:58 pm Get into bed with computer, prepared to blog
11:04 pm Decide it's too cold in bed (since bed is basically in a window)
11:05 pm Read the internet instead of blogging, this way keeping hands warm and under cover
11:10 pm Chide self for still being awake, must be asleep before 11:30 pm in order to get enough sleep
11:14 pm Get up to go to the bathroom (damn champagne), feel warmth emanating from rest of house
11:15 pm Join roommates in kitchen, huddle around oven, eat cookies
11:29 pm Complain about blogging, cold
11:42 pm After orders from Kathy, return to bed with intention to blog
11:49 pm Bring Patrick into bed to decrease chances of hypothermia for both of us
12:00 am Get knee deep in wedding research for a friend
12:06 am Occasionally research options to seal the windows (I'm going with the plastic film that you hair-dry onto the wall, now I just have to find it)
12:24 am Hit wedding jackpot, make extensive list of reception locations, followed by many question marks?
12:29 am Can't believe how late it is
12:34 am Chided by Kathy for reading the internet instead of blogging
12:36 am Complain about frigid temperatures
12:37 am Push Patrick over because he's totally hogging the bed
12:39 am Give up on blog
12:40 am Give up on getting sleep ever
12:41 am Give up on wedding planning plans
12:42 am

Too bad you can't blog with mittens on.

Holy Kamoly, that's why I couldn't sleep!

M'dear... move the bedroom around so you are not next to the window.

I thought it was really cold in my bedroom too, then I realized I hadn't turned the heat on upstairs. Doh!

12:43am remember you have to work the next day.

And that's the way it is. Teehee

Hee hee hee. The all-too familiar reasons I don't go to bed my doctor-recommended half hour before I really need to. (substitute kitties for Patrick, internet window shopping for wedding research)
