Some sad news

Friends,

I wasn't totally vocal about this here on my blog because I didn't have the internet access necessary to devote to such verbose adoration, BUT I really really really wanted the Bears to win the Super Bowl yesterday. They lost.

I am sad.

HOWEVER, Governor Blagojevich has still declared this week Chicago Bears Week and I say party on, we still have cake left over!

Go Bears!

When there's cake, there's still celebration!

Is that a horseshoe?

Da Bears!
Duuuuuuuuh Bears.

We always love our Bears.

I was so rooting for them, too. Probably not for the same reasons, but still.

That is a hot cake. On a hot cake stand. You must know good people.

Mmmm oranges!

Wait, there's cake too?!

Hi Abs :)

That looks like a 7MB cake. Is it?

I was torn. My mom has loved the Bears since long before I was born, so I was cheering for them. But Tony Dungy is from the city that I currently live in, so I was cheering for him.

I guess it was a win-win situation for me. Sorry your team lost, but enjoy the cake!

Mmmm - everything looks good...party on!!

i have never felt so sad about moving as i do at this moment. i miss your cakes.

and also, what is in that bowl? it looks like blueberries and eggs from over here in yreka.

It's potato salad! Cause everybody loves potato salad! (Jennie that was for you.)

But really it is and we made it from scratch with potatoes from the Farmer's Market down the street. The blueberries are olives.

i just want to say that i love that cake. and i was rooting for the bears, too.

Wow, I just got the potato salad thing. Jennie is slow.
