Things I'm thankful for
(despite the hot, hot weather)
*trees that create shade
*air conditioning at work (even though I complain about it everyday)
*ceiling fans
*windows that open
*ice cubes
*Starbucks Frappuccinos
Things I will continue to complain about:
*windows that get stuck
*hot hot my computer gets
*how hot my cell phone gets
*how loud the air conditioning is in my car
*people touching me when it's hot

So, I am looking up grant possibilities for first time home buyers in California (long story), and as I begin to type "California" The pull down menu shows me all the previous serches I've typed. Let me give you a sampling:
California Laws everclear
California laws 100 proof or higher
California laws related to "everclear"
California liqour laws
This is apparently the only thing I have ever been interested in about my state government.

This, my dear daughter, is the type of heat that you use to like to sit on a couch next to me and lean into me. I would exclaim that it was too hot for that sort of closeness, but.... noooooooooooo.
Does it not cool down at all at night?
And, btw, someone help Cate find the California spell checker is.
