Just another reason why Gmail is the best mail
Kat just shared the best thing on Google Reader. It's a new Google Labs plugin thingy. Do you use Google Labs in your gmail? It's awesome. You should. For example, one of the things changes the yellow star to different more interesting stars. See:

There are a lot of other things you can do with the Labs. Like turn off your emails so you stop obsessing about them, or have random quotes appear in your signature, or hit & and play snake. They're very cool. Obvs.
But now they are infinitely cooler because now they have GOGGLES.
"When you enable Mail Goggles, it will check that you're really sure you want to send that late night Friday email. And what better way to check than by making you solve a few simple math problems after you click send to verify you're in the right state of mind? By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you're most likely to need it."
SO BEST.
Now, I'm not saying I need this feature. I did, afterall, brag on The Collective today about how I don't do regrettable things while drinking. I do send emails, though. Lots of them. For example:
1. hu. im drhnj and u wankted ou to be a part of it. lovsves.
2. .!~!! HE SAYS THE PICUTE IS CUTE I DONT KNO WHT OW THE CAP STURN ON OU WELL.
3. i wish you were her.e the end. love schildob.
The random tilda might be my favorite.
I'm not sure if I'm ready yet for Google to become my personal alcohawk (private blog, comment here to be added), but I do appreciate their concern. And dude, this could prevent so many catastrophes.

Google goggles needs to be on the boards so if I'm drunk I don't accidentally get spoiled about my favorite shows.
Good call. Google Goggles needs to be on keyguard, so that when you try to use your cell phone, it's all NOT SO FAST.

Here's the thing: those Goggles need to be on everything, especially emails, cell phones, and cars. Although I don't know what good it would do for me personally, because no one ever sends me drunken anythings, and I'm so much smarter when I'm drunk anyway that I could totally fool my car.
