Things Accomplished Today:
-did all my laundry (five loads!)
-attempted to finish the world's largest pancake (attempting is an accomplishment in and of itself)
-obsessively tracked this this awesome Google map with fire updates
-made dinner
-did not succomb to Maddie's begging while I made dinner
-listened to some country music because it's the only radio station I could get (this is what I know about country: Rascal Flatts, that guy who married Renee Zellweger, that guy who married Faith Hill, Faith Hill)
-decided the fire smoke would just be too much strain on my asthma and made the call to stay in the mountains one more day

My Parents live in Yorba Linda. They say the smoke is nasty. They are in their house and it's hard to breath.
